Phases

Construction Document Phase

The decisions have been made. Documents are created and specifications written out. The drawings detail the final design for construction They will also be used for an further meetings with an engineer if needed and also copies have to be turned in to the municipal authorities for permits.

This phase is usually routine and since all or most of the key decisions have been made. Most architects can estimate the time needed to produce the documents and prepare specifications if an estimate of this stage is needed.

Then the job is ready to go out for pricing or bids.
