Design Development Phase

The Client, when satisfied, can instruct the Architect to proceed to finalize design. This Design Development Phase refines the floor plan and develops interior and exterior elevations with attention to special features.

If engineers or specialists are required, this is when they may be brought in before absolute final plans are created and turned in for approval. Structural and mechanical solutions must be evaluated and material selections selected. The design is finalized and the Client's approval is required.
